The Outer Banks Arboretum and Teaching Garden

Located adjacent to the Thomas H. Baum Center in Kill Devil Hills, the Arboretum and Teaching Garden is a free, open park with wheelchair accessible pathways that are available to the public from dawn until dusk, 365 days a year. On Wednesday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00 from May through November, visit the Arboretum and Teaching Garden to talk to a Master Gardener at their Greenline booth. You may also call Greenline at (252) 473-4290 or email your questions to greenlineobx@gmail.com any time of the year.  The Arboretum and Teaching Garden a great place to walk, enjoy seasonal color, learn about plants that grow well on the Outer Banks, and savor our forested local landscape. Dogs are welcome, but only if accompanied by a responsible, leashed human. Come, visit the garden!DSC_0207DSC_0317IMG_1638
