When Was the Last Time You Had Your Soil Tested?
The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Agronomic Division will analyze your soil samples free of charge from April 1 through December 15, 2019.
The first step to cultivating healthy soil is having your soil tested. Collecting soil samples only takes a few minutes and can help save money in your lawn, garden, and landscape. The results will tell you which nutrients are already in your soil as well as the ones you need to add.
Forms and boxes for samples are available at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Dare County office in Manteo and the Outer Banks Arboretum and Teaching Garden in Kill Devil Hills on Wednesday mornings.
