Join the Master Gardener℠ volunteers of Dare County at the

Outer Banks Arboretum & Teaching Garden as we celebrate Earth Day.

April 22, 2020  |   11 a.m. to noon   Rain or Shine

It’s Springtime when the azalea’s put on a show!

Azaleas provide spectacular flower masses and a range of colors; from red to pink to white. Their plant forms and foliage make a wonderful addition to most landscapes. Azaleas have a number of species and cultivars, many of them native, and can be grown here on the Outer Banks.

Program is free   |   No registration is required

The Outer Banks Arboretum & Teaching Garden is located adjacent to the

Thomas A. Baum Senior Center 300 Mustian St, Kill Devil Hills.

It is a free, open park with wheelchair-accessible pathways that are available to the public from dawn until dusk, 365 days a year.
