This site will be updated regularly with cooking classes, workshops, and events operated by the Family & Consumer Sciences Program of N.C. Cooperative Extension. Please contact FCS Agent, Dee Furlough, at dee_furlough@ncsu.edu or 252.473.4290 for more information on each event.

  • Please call 252-473-4290 to register for a workshop at least 5 business days prior to the program.
  • All programs will be held at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Dare County office located at 517 Budleigh Street, Manteo, NC 27954 from 10 a.m.–noon.
  • All programs have a cost of $10 per person. Payment is accepted as cash or check made payable to Dare County 4-H Council.
  • Accommodation requests related to a disability may be made by calling 252-473-4290 at least 5 business days prior to the program.
