Our Mediterranean kits were such a hit in February, we’re doing them again in March!

You may be surprised at this month’s offerings – Roasted Vegetable Tacos, Homemade Taco Seasoning, and Black Bean Salsa. If you’re thinking, “that’s Mexican, not Mediterranean,” let me explain. Often, folks think of Mediterranean as Italian or Greek flavors. However, Mediterranean isn’t a specific flavor but is more about the ingredients – lots of fruits and veggies, whole grains, nuts and seeds, seafood, olive oil, and the like.

Kits will be $10 each and checks can be made payable to Dare County 4-H Council. Register by March 12, 2021, if you would like one.

Kits will be available for pick up on March 22 from the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Dare County office. They will contain fresh vegetables so they will need to be picked up within a day or two.
