Growing up, I was very involved with North Carolina 4-H and competed on the county, district, state, and national levels. I was a member of several clubs, including livestock, horse, and electric clubs. I have volunteered for Dare County 4-H for several years as an adult. In my spare time, I am a coach for the Manteo Hunter Education Team. I enjoy gardening with my father, reading, fishing with my husband, and spending time with family and friends as well as our four-legged children, our dog, cat, and horse.

I am excited to start this new chapter with N.C. Cooperative Extension.
