Bring your garden questions, samples or photos to the back porch of the Thomas A. Baum Senior Center from 9 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesdays. On rainy days, look for Master Gardener℠ volunteers of Dare County inside the Baum Center. Also on Wednesdays, Master Gardener volunteers of Dare County are working in the Outer Banks Arboretum & Teaching Garden, so you may enjoy walking through the garden and meeting them. They are always happy to answer questions about their beautiful teaching garden with a compost demonstration area, native plants, lawn test plots, composting, butterfly gardening, and much more! The Outer Banks Arboretum & Teaching Garden is free, has handicapped-accessible trails, and is open from sun-up to sun-down, 365 days a year.

Greenline will be hosted by Master Gardener volunteers of Dare County at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Dare County office in Manteo on Mondays from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Bring your garden questions, samples or photos.

You may also reach Greenline by simply emailing your gardening questions to greenlineobx@gmail.com or calling 473-4290. Soil Sample kits are available from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., M-F at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Dare County office in Manteo at 517 Budleigh Street.
