Dare County 4-H Horse Bowl Team is looking for youth!

Horse Bowl is a quiz-style competition where youth test their knowledge about horses, including topics such as breeds, anatomy, nutrition, behavior, and care. Designed to be both educational and fun, Horse Bowl helps participants deepen their understanding of equine science through friendly competition.

This activity is a great way to prepare for the upcoming District Horse Bowl Competition in February and the State Competition in March. You do not need to own a horse to participate—Horse Bowl is open to all youth interested in learning about horses.

It’s especially beneficial for those considering a future in veterinary medicine, animal science, or any equine-related field. Whether you’re new to horses or already passionate about them, Horse Bowl offers a great opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with others who share your interests.
