Description: Healthy Living Teen Leader Retreat

Saturday, January 4, 2020 – Sunday, January 5, 2020

Join Dare County 4-H at the Healthy Living Leadership Retreat at Millstone 4-H Camp. The retreat is FREE. Counties should bring a team of 4 youth (ages 14-17) and 1 adult. This retreat will focus on youth-adult partnerships, teaching, and leadership.

Topics covered will include:

Effective teaching and learning skills such as the differences in learning styles
Classroom management techniques
Ages and stages of child development
Teamwork within your group

This retreat will cover the Health Rocks Curriculum and Healthy Habits Program, respectively. This retreat is limited to 8 Health Rocks Teams and 5 Healthy Habits Teams.
Registration Deadline is December 13, 2019!
