The Extension Master Gardner℠ volunteers of Dare County won the International Master Gardener Conference’s Search for Excellence Presentations & Workshops Award. The Search for Excellence program recognizes Master Gardener Extension Volunteer work throughout the United States, Canada, and South Korea. These awards are given out every two years at the International Master Gardener Conference. Lois Chatham, Keith Lilly, and Chris Stadther traveled to Valley Forge, PA to accept the award on behalf of the group. Congratulations Master Gardener volunteers of Dare County on this much-deserved recognition for providing education to all residents of the Outer Banks about sustainable gardening and landscape practices!
